SSC CGL 2025: Online Applications Open for 14,582 Vacancies – 




The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam is one of the Commission’s flagship recruitment tests, held to select candidates for the following groups:

Group B Gazetted

Group B Non-Gazetted

Group C


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has activated the SSC CGL 2025 online application link on its official website — ssc.gov.in. A total of 14,582 vacancies have been announced for the upcoming Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2025 exam. Candidates are advised to download and thoroughly read the official SSC CGL 2025 notification for future reference.

The last date to submit the online application is July 4, 2025, while the deadline to pay the application fee is July 5, 2025. The application correction window will be open from July 9 to July 11, 2025. The Tier 1 examination for SSC CGL 2025 is scheduled to be held from August 13 to August 30, 2025.

The Commission has announced 14,582 vacancies in the official notification. However, candidates should note that this figure is provisional and the final number of SSC CGL vacancies may increase.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL 2025 city intimation slip on its official website on August 8, 2025. The Tier 1 exam is scheduled to take place from August 13 to August 30, 2025, and will be conducted in Computer-Based Exam (CBE) format at designated exam centers nationwide.


How to Apply for SSC CGL 2025?

The SSC CGL 2025 online application process begins with the release of the official notification. Applications are accepted only through the online mode, and candidates must complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) to proceed with the form submission. Follow the steps below to apply:

Step 2: Click on the ‘New User? Register Now’ link
Step 3: Complete the SSC CGL registration form
Step 4: Log in using the registration number and password generated during registration
Step 5: Fill in all required details in the SSC CGL 2025 application form
Step 6: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other necessary documents (if applicable)
Step 7: Carefully review the application and click on ‘Final Submit’
Step 8: Pay the application fee of INR 100

After completing the application form, candidates can pay the fee via SBI Challan, BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Visa/MasterCard/Maestro/RuPay debit or credit cards.The application fee for SSC CGL 2025 for Unreserved/OBC is INR 100.
